Taleban attacks and retaliation
8 police officers diad in a paramilitary attack promoted by Taleban against a police agency in the Gaur province, west of Afganistan. The Vice-President of the province, Habibuhlah Radmanish, said that, as the result of the atack the control of the police agency was transfered to a political organization. Also, 5 security agents were injuried at this attack.
According to official informations, many members of the Taleban died after the attack.
This week the authorities in country are promoting a peace negotiation to the country between USA and Taleban groups to promote a democratic unity and investments in country.
Accordint to military sources in USA, at least seventeen Taliban militants were killed in separate airstrikes conducted in southeastern Ghazni and southern Uruzgan provinces in Afghanistan.
Six militants were killed in Deh Yak district of Ghazni province, and other eleven in Tarin Kowt City, capital of Uruzgan province. The anti-government armed militants, including Taliban, still not commented the casualities.
These groups are active in restritive and remote districts, promoting militias abd attempt to carry terrorist related activities against government and security institutions.
