Iranian Escalation in proxy conflicts against USA
Persian government and army continues to escalate a proxy conflict against USA in Iraq, demonstrating that remains the memory of IRGC - Quds Force Command Qassem Soleimani and the Iraqi Proxy leader Abu Mehdi al-Muhandis and the subsequent U.S. strikes. The proxy war network is advancing at its campaign to compel an American withdraw on increasing the operational tempo on attacks and the allied personel.
These proxy attacks were responsible for a dozen of attacks on American and the coalition personnel, also forming a new militia group, Usbat al-Thairen, claimed several of these recent attacks, indicating the re-organization of a shared vision of Soleimani's strategy.
This new militia is a Shi’a under the direct control of Kata’ib Hezbollah and the proxy network. Name Usbat al-Thairen, means the League of Revolutionaries, that is claimming the responibility for three rocket attacks on the US-led coalition forces at Camp Taji and Besmaya Base on March 11, 14, and 16. March 11, the day this round of attacks began, was Soleimani’s birthday – now a symbolically significant date.
This group militia has shown that have an important picture on the new escataion of conflicts, promoting being a new player that has important part on the war. Combining old means of guerrilla tactics and promoting old school kinda terror, just as a new player of an old treat.
