The late new conflicts were fought by contracted armies for momentum, not for public interests, with a dissolution after the conflict, characterized by contract, payment, break of international/war rules and extreme operations with weapons and fire power.
PMCs era got higher after War on Terror, but had it's golden age fighting communists in Africa and fighting for the independence of those countries. In later War on Terror, Notorious Blackwater brought back the model under the technological progress and nowadays, exactly, Wagner brought a new model of PMCs momentum, with hybrid strategy and psychological warfare, implementing chaotic scenarios and with the characteristcs of Executive Outcomes, with ultra high firepower.
